My time of 37:05 mins was a huge improvement on the 39:21 a month ago on the same course so I'm happy. I finished 6th Warrior (7 in a team) in about 72nd place (of 100 ish). It was a tougher course than Kingston, soft golf-course ground from rain, more hills and windy so I'm pretty sure it was an improvement on Kingston as well, I felt much stronger.
On the start line - Jenna HolzIt was also my first cross-country race to have a false start, which resulted in the starter being out of caps for his gun so had to use a whistle.

The banquet afterwards was alright, not quite a BUSA party but still fun and the food was decent (and free!). It's a bit strange the cross season being over now, it just started in Britain. I'll probably run track in the winter here, certainly train with the track team anyway, which pretty much is the cross-country team for distance events.
